All you have to do to understand certain words and phrases is to hear them used in context once or twice, then you get it.  So, rather than try to explain what this phrase means, I’ll just show you a few examples of it’s use.  Okay?  The phrase:

I bet this has caused a lot of people to question whether or not they have to subscribe to any service to watch TV.  You might complain that watching your computer monitor is not as convenient as watching a nice big TV screen, but there’s plenty out there to solve this problem (xbox360, ps3, slingbox, apple TV etc).  Here are some of the best sites that I’ve found for watching movies and shows.

You’re eating a dish for the first time.  It’s one of the best meals you’ve ever had.  In between each bite that you’re shoveling into your mouth, you praise the cook over and over.  ”Please stop.  You’re flattering me.  Also, chew with your mouth closed,” the cook says.  Anyway, you start to pace yourself and actually eat a little like a civilized person.  You start to inquire about what ingredients make up this fraction of heaven.  “Mushrooms?!” you exclaim, “I have never liked mushrooms.  I don’t want this anymore.  I don’t like it.” You wipe your mouth, and excuse yourself from the table.

Alex Gorosh has this great project, WordWorms, which features music videos of cartoons found in the public domain.  I really enjoyed Alex’s special brand of hip-hop influenced music and lyrics.  The first video I saw was It’s a Pup Dog! which “explores the joy of owning a puppy.  It stars a group of animal rights activist gnomes that live in the wallpaper.” 

I tried doing something like this with my band.  I put our music to footage of a Popeye cartoon.  Yeah, it didn’t work out so hot.
